SE analytics & scorecard
A per-SE 30-day scorecard and an SE-team analytics dashboard — win rates, RFP performance, the sandbox funnel, and playbook effectiveness — computed live from real SE activity.
SE work has always been hard to measure — which is how it ends up undervalued. Pact computes an honest picture from real activity: a personal scorecard for each SE and a team dashboard for the whole function. Everything here is derived live from actual data; nothing is a placeholder.
What counts as an "SE-supported deal"
This is the definition that makes the rest of the numbers meaningful. An SE-supported deal is an opportunity that an SE answered a technical question on through the Tech Q&A inbox. That link — a Q&A row tied to the opportunity — is both the definition and the mechanism that scopes deal metrics to your tenant.
'Supported' means you answered a question on it
Win-rate and deal metrics count opportunities an SE answered a technical question on — not all pipeline. If no technical question was routed to an SE on a deal, that deal doesn't appear in SE deal metrics. This is deliberate: it measures deals SE actually touched.
Personal scorecard
Each SE gets a trailing-30-day scorecard covering:
- supported-deal win rate
- demo-to-close rate
- RFP win rate
- average time on a deal
- technical questions answered
The scorecard recomputes on demand and keeps a history, so you can watch a trend rather than read a single snapshot.
How 'time on a deal' is measured
Average time on a deal is measured as days since the SE's first technical-question touch on the opportunity — a reliable signal that doesn't depend on close-date data that isn't always clean.
Team analytics
The SE-team dashboard aggregates across every SE in the tenant into one view:
- cross-SE KPIs and a leaderboard
- RFP win rate by section
- the sandbox funnel (created → demoed → handed-off)
- prospect objections seen across deals
- playbook effectiveness
It's computed live over your real SE data — there is no separate rollup table that can drift out of sync.
What we deliberately don't claim
Honesty matters more than a fuller-looking dashboard, so two things are intentionally left out rather than faked:
- Objections are surfaced by a keyword rule over the Tech Q&A inbox — they are not mined from call transcripts. Read them as "themes seen in questions," not a transcript analysis.
- SE hours logged is not tracked. Rather than show a fabricated number, the workspace omits it.
Battlecards, likewise, intentionally leave out a product-changes section — there's no backend store behind it, so it isn't presented.
Not available — and honestly so
Pact does not do call-transcript objection mining and does not track SE hours. If you need those, treat them as gaps to fill elsewhere, not features of this dashboard.
